At the Dr. József Marek Veterinary Laboratory of Prophyl Ltd. – Immunolab, we are committed to complying with the quality requirements specified in standard MSZ EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and with those prescribed by the (Hungarian) National Accreditation Authority (NAA), and we thereby focus on the reliable quality of our services. Since 30 April 2020, as an NAA-accredited laboratory, we carry out our activities using the best methods available.

According to the certification issued on 1 April 2020 by the (Hungarian) National Institute of Pharmacy and Nutrition (OGYÉI), Prophyl Ltd. – Immunolab complies with the principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and with the relevant OECD and EC regulations when performing metabolism and toxico-/pharmacokinetics testing, experimental phase of residual studies, in-vivo safety testing of vaccines, and bioequivalence studies of veterinary formulations).
The Dr. József Marek Veterinary Laboratory provides the opportunity to conduct the laboratory phase of animal testing within a GLP quality assurance system.

By decision of the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH), the Dr. József Marek Veterinary Laboratory of Prophyl Ltd. – Immunolab carries out testing of official samples related to live cattle transport within the European Union with regard to the following tested products/substances and tested/measured characteristics:
- ELISA testing for Brucella abortus antibodies (bovine serum, milk)
- ELISA testing to detect antibodies against the virus causing enzootic bovine leukosis (bovine serum)
Further:
The laboratory carries out annual blood testing of cattle above the age of 12 months with regard to the following tested products/substances and tested/measured characteristics, in accordance with Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/689:
- ELISA testing for Brucella abortus antibodies (bovine serum, milk)

- Carrying out tests for African swine fever
Nébih - National Control Program for Salmonella
By decision of the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH), we carry out tests on samples taken within the National Control Program for Salmonella, in accordance with the requirements of standard MSZ EN ISO 6579-1:2017, with regard to the following tested products/substances and tested/measured characteristics:
- Salmonella isolation, enrichment, surface propagation, identification (poultry body, organs, tissue, feces, swabs, litter, hatching waste, dead eggs).
- Exclusion of the presence of Salmonella enteritidis and Salmonella typhimurium by determining the O serogroup via slide agglutination (Salmonella strains).
